MCME Wiki

Linking tells MCME which Minecraft account belongs to which Discord account. Patreon supporters need it: Patreon tells us your Discord account, and the link tells the Minecraft server which player gets the perks.

  1. In the MCME Discord server, send @qBot link in a channel you can write in. Start the message by mentioning qBot: the ! prefix doesn't work.
  2. qBot sends you a 6-character code by direct message. If it can't, allow direct messages from server members in the server's privacy settings and run @qBot link again.
  3. Join the Minecraft server and run /mcmeverify <code> (or /mcmelink <code>).
  4. You see a confirmation in game, qBot confirms by direct message, and you get the Verified Ingame role in Discord.

A code works for 10 minutes. Running @qBot link again gives you a new code, and the old one stops working.

Keep your code private. You can also type just /mcmeverify: your next chat message is then taken as the code and nobody else sees it. You have 60 seconds; type cancel to stop. If you type something like verify <code> in chat without the slash, the server blocks the message so the code isn't shown to other players.

Patreon supporters

To get your Patreon perks in game:

  1. Connect your Discord account in your Patreon account settings, so Patreon knows who you are on Discord.
  2. Link Discord and Minecraft as above.

Both are needed: Patreon connects you to Discord, and the link connects Discord to Minecraft. Your perks follow after the next sync; you don't need to do anything else.

The Verified Ingame role

The role shows other members that you've linked your accounts. Staff can't give it to you by hand: qBot removes it from anyone who hasn't linked. Your perks don't depend on the role either: they come from the link itself.

Staff: the commands to look up and manage links are on Discord bot (qBot).
